Finding FemDom in Unexpected Places

In "The Big Bang Theory" "The Precious Fragmentation" episode, the four nerdy scientists: Leonard, Sheldon, Raj, and Howard find a facsimile of The Dark Lord of Mordor Sauron the Great's One Ruling Ring of Doom forged for use in "The Lord of the Rings" epic movie trilogy. When the guys can't agree on what they should do with The Ring, Leonard gives it to his sexy blonde girlfriend Penny to safeguard this treasure. During the night, Sheldon sneaks into Penny's apartment to steal the Ring and, like Gollum, creeps over to where Leonard and Penny are sleeping.  When he reaches out to seize The Ring, Penny wakes up and punches Sheldon in the face. After hearing the commotion, Leonard asks Penny about what happened? Penny tells her lover she punched Sheldon because he tried to snatch The Ring. Rather than being fearful, disconcerted, intimidated, or some such, Leonard tells Penny, "That's my girl".

Leonard's pleased reaction to his girlfriend's display of power is an example of what FemDom is all about. Here we have a man who is even more captivated by his beautiful girlfriend after the lady showed she could handle herself in a physical confrontation--if the need arose.

A sitcom focused on the lives of a quartet of geeky science guys is not the place many would expect to find even an unintentional allusion to FemDom. Nevertheless, one was found there.

Have you ever found an example of FemDom, FemDom hypnosis, or something connected to such fascinations in a TV show, movie, real life situation, and so forth where you didn't expect to find it?

Good question Jarod, depending on what I can think of, may have a few to name later. But a big one that comes to mind is from a video game series called Metal Gear Solid.

This series has had a history of glorifying one principle soldier considered the best of the last century, code named Big Boss. Once we get the game of Big Boss' origin story, we find that he and nearly everyone else involved revered her, influenced and affected (non-hypnotically in this case) by a legendary female soldier simply named "The Boss." She was a war hero of the WWII era, bearing hand-to-hand skills that made her the mother of the US Special Forces, too many accomplishments and followers to name off-hand. In-game, she's besting everyone with her skills, including the protagonist and guys with supernatural powers, some of which report directly to her.

In a game series modled after so many 80s and 90s macho action movie tropes, to find a woman like The Boss as the progenitor of it all all still impresses me.

I can see how while playing Metal Gear Solid, The Boss can play around with the mindset of the right player and solidify Her hold on their memories, desires, and much more of them than meets the eyes.

As far as hypnotic control is concerned, IMO each HypnoDomme worthy of the title knows it's possible to deeply hypnotize someone without ever using hypnosis upon them.

The Boss might possibly be able to do that, but most likely wouldn't. Thinking about it a little more, part of her gravitas is like Captain America, inspiring everyone around her just by being herself and devoted to her cause/mission.

But it also reminded me of the fact that in the same franchise, there's briefly a female psychic, Screaming Mantis, that uses her control to make people her puppets, right down to having limbs strung up and individually manipulated. She'd definitely be one to potentially play with memories and desires, thought she's a little more into body control, and knives.

The clip from this "Happy Days" "Arnold's Wedding" episode is a wonderful and amusing instance of FemDom.

This clip also reveals two FemDom facts:

"Though FemDom often employs sensuality, sexuality, etc, it is neither always nor absolutely reliant upon any of them."

"FemDom's greatest power comes from the relationship/interaction of the female whose will prevails and the one(s) who for whatever reason(s) rest in the thrall of her will's dominion."

From classic TV, almost any episode of The Honeymooners.  Alice always not only outsmarts Ralph, but She makes him, eventually, like it!  She ruled the roost, even though Ralph thought that he did.
